This momma desperately needed and appreciated this stay-cation!
Testing the beds, of course!

My family and I were invited to the quaint little town of Charlottesville to stay at the Graduate Hotel last month. As soon as I saw the inside of the hotel, I knew I was going to enjoy my stay with its vintage charm and delightful views. Josh, Brave, and I started out our day by grabbing a cup of joe from their Sheepdog Café and headed out on foot to see the University of Virgina (where I took my first online classes when I was 17).
The UVA campus was absolutely breathtaking and still due the Holiday season. Rocking chairs and firewood lined the campus walkways and every brick, stone, and structure seemed to tell a story. Maybe one day Brave will have stories of her own in this very place. When we were finished walking around town, we ended our day with dinner at the Hotel’s Heirloom rooftop bar and restaurant. The food and services were both EXCELLENT. The best part about dinner was our little girl sleeping the entire time in her stroller (Date Night!). Scouting for colleges is t-i-r-i-n-g!
Whether you’re dropping by UVA, stopping by a local winery, or visiting Monticello, the Graduate Hotel in Charlottesville is absolutely the place to rest, recharge, and keep the good times going. A big thanks to everyone at The Graduate for a lovely stay and experience.
