Happy Wednesday, my beauties! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still available for public access until August 6th. I have had my eye on this Topshop skirt for quite some time, but it was always low in stock due to high demand. During the sale, I finally got my hands on one and it legit went out of stock faster than you can say “
gangnam gingham style“! But don’t you worry, I have linked plenty of similar gingham skirts for you to style. The picnic-friendly checks make me feel instantly cheerful and I love the fact that you can dress it up or down. (Converse would look adorable with this skirt.)
How To Incorporate Gingham Into Your Wardrobe
1.) Balance with pieces that neutralize the effect.
Balancing trendy pieces (gingham skirt) with more classic pieces (my classic white tee and nude heels) will make your ensemble look effortlessly chic.
2..) Don’t overdo your accessories. Gingham is a bold, statement piece that should be the main focal point of your outfit. Keep the rest of the outfit simple to keep the look sweet and feminine.
3.) One thing about gingham is that it works in every iteration. It’s cute whether you’re wearing it in a shirt, a dress, or a pant. So, if you are feeling hesitant and aren’t sure how to start, you can start small. Opt for a printed bag or shoes instead.
Okay, Okay. I know you all have been excited about the Nordstrom sale, so enough talking and more shopping! I have gone through the sale and picked my FAVORITES for you all that are currently still in stock. (Everything is selling out incredibly fast, so be sure to act quickly.) All you have to do is click on the item you like and it will take you right to Nordstrom to purchase.
