Today, I am featuring the Irresistible Me, Ruby two way auto rotating curling iron. I’ll admit, the thought of an auto rotating curler was intimidating at first. Every possible thing that could go wrong flooded my mind and I was a bit nervous to put this curling iron to the test. Fortunately, this curling iron is simple to use and does all the work for you to achieve luscious, irresistible curls! This curling iron will cut your morning routine in half. The fast heat-up is a huge plus, taking less than a minute to heat up!
In the middle of the iron, you have the left and right button to direct your curls away from your face. The red button is used to reset the curling iron back to it’s original place. Think of it as ‘the home button’, this home feature is pressed before each curl.
Once plugged in, the infrared temperature light will start blinking but you still have to turn on the heat by pressing the power button for 2 seconds. The iron will start by default at 260F. To increase and decrease the heat, press the + and – buttons (above the power button). I curl my hair on 380F. Avoid curling your hair over 400F, this will damage your hair quickly. When the LED light stops blinking then you know the iron is heated to the desired temperature.
I noticed that with the Ruby auto-rotating curler, I am only able to curl smaller sections of hair at a time. This is the only downfall for me. I usually choose up to an inch of hair in width to curl, however, the Ruby can’t hold as much hair as my other curling irons due to it’s size (26 mm), so my curls come out tighter than I prefer. What I like to do is run my fingers through my hair after all of the curls have cooled, to make them look a bit more natural. My curls then looks something like this;
In less than 15 minutes my look is completed and will last two to three days, depending on how tight I choose to curl my hair. Overall, I really enjoy using this hair curler and am incredibly impressed with it’s high quality and fast heating.
