I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and again, you CAN wear white after Labor Day! The best way to wear white in the cold winter months, is to pair it pieces that remind you of fall or winter, such as I did with these fringe ankle boots. I want to thank CHOiES for sending me these beautiful pieces to feature on the blog today. I just can’t get enough of these fringe boots. I have been wearing them non stop and they are so comfortable! Make sure to check out their website for affordable styles.
I also wanted to share with you today, the details behind this photo shoot. We have to be so careful as bloggers to not compare ourselves with other bloggers. Pictures only show us partial truth about a person’s life and can make it seem like everything is going perfect in their world. However, moments before taking these photos, Bravely Belle was extremely tired and wouldn’t stop crying. I had tire marks on my white pants that I had to Photoshop out, and I accidentally fell asleep on the couch right before we left and didn’t have any time to fix my hair…. Being a mommy is not always glamorous and my life is most definitely, not perfect, but as a fashion blogger, I have to stop, smile, and Photoshop the imperfections out from that moment. How many of us have had a bad day and then go on IG and think, ‘Her life seems so perfect’, or ‘I wish I had it all together like she does’ and we bury ourselves even more. You are never alone when you are having moments of imperfections, fault, or even failure. No one has to be perfect. No one expects you to be perfect. Instead of comparing to other people, change the way you see yourself. When I looked at these photos, I wasn’t’ happy. My hair is a mess. My clothes are not quite laid out just right on my body. I also didn’t fix the fringe on my purse…..Truth is, these details are not important. What is important, and what I am most thankful for, is the opportunity to blog and interact with YOU!
Thank you so much for reading and stopping by!
